ABOUT WILD AND FREE RECOVERY

At Wild and Free Recovery, we believe everyone deserves a chance to reclaim their story — no matter how far off track life may have gone. Based in Fridley, Minnesota, WFR is an outpatient substance abuse treatment center built specifically for high-risk individuals navigating complex challenges, including criminal histories, homelessness, and co-occurring mental health disorders.

We’re not your typical recovery program. Our approach is structured, direct, and rooted in compassion. We combine proven methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), life skills training, and criminal behavior modification to help our clients not just survive, but thrive — wild and free.

WFR is built by people who understand the road to recovery isn’t always a straight line. Our team brings deep experience in addiction treatment, mental health support, and community integration. We also partner with psychiatric providers for medication referrals when needed, ensuring a full-spectrum approach to healing.

What sets us apart?

  • Structure that builds consistency and accountability.

  • Support that understands the realities of trauma, justice involvement, and survival.

  • Skills that empower clients to rebuild lives with purpose.

  • Community that doesn’t give up.

We see the potential in every person who walks through our doors. No matter your past, recovery is possible — and at WFR, you won’t walk it alone.

The time for change is now.
Let’s do this, together.
